Fine Motor Fun: This arts and crafts based group is designed for the school aged child who may be struggling to grasp the basic concepts of handwriting readiness (coloring, cutting, lacing, drawing) and or handwriting skills.  Activities are designed to address all areas of fine motor coordination and bilateral hand skills through art based activities that are motivating and allow the child to feel successful with an otherwise difficult task. 

Handwriting Without Tears lessons can be provided both individually or in a group setting.  All lessons are provided by a certified Handwriting Without Tears provider/registered occupational therapist.  This program is designed for children of all ages and grade levels.  Lessons will be individually tailored following a handwriting assessment using the Handwriting Without Tears Print Tool.  Handwriting Without Tears also encompasses cursive writing.

Table Top Talk is a fine motor and social language group.  The group is designed for children who demonstrate fine motor and social pragmatic weaknesses.  The group consists of an occupational therapist and a speech language pathologist.  The role of the occupational therapist is to address fine motor skills while the speech language pathologist addresses social interactions skills among peers.  The objective of the group is to strengthen both fine motor and social pragmatic skills.
