Groups Yoga Kids
Mommy and Me Yoga: This class is designed for parents and children to come and experience the many benefits of yoga while promoting positive bonding and a healthy lifestyle.  Parents will assist the children in assuming poses while learning how to utilize this practice in the home.  This class is geared toward the children gaining experience of the discipline of yoga while parents will experience the benefits of proper breathing techniques and relaxation exercises. Class designed for children under the age of 5.


Yoga Tots: Designed for children ages 2-4.  This class will introduce the children to breathing techniques and poses that promote flexibility and strength.  Children will be motivated to use their imagination and creativity while singing songs and playing games that encompass the practice of yoga.


Yoga Kids: Designed for younger school aged children, this class teaches and promotes proper breathing, stretching, and self discipline among children aged 5-9.  Beginner and intermediate poses will foster your child’s strength, endurance, posture, self esteem and will promote a healthy lifestyle.  Children will begin to experience the many benefits of yoga and will be introduced to terminology through games and practice of poses.


Yoga Tweens:  As children grow they begin to experience the emotions of anxiety, nervousness and stress surrounding school, sports, peer relationships and general day to day interactions.  The practice of yoga fosters relaxation, coping strategies and improved self esteem which are all critical components of most teen/pre-teenagers lives.  Aside from feelings of anxiety and stress the teenage years are a critical time for healthy and strong bone development and understanding of healthy habits surrounding food and exercise.  This class will engage teens/pre-teens in a form of exercise that is popular, fun and successful at the same time.
